JAYPEE NOIDA vs DROP

Engineering Entrance , JEE Main , JEE Advanced

Hey friends tommorow is the councelling of JAYPEE Noida, i am having merit no near 600, i.e. i might get CS in noida branch even...
I want some help that as it was my first attempt , should i drop from vibrent kota for a year, or should go for jaypee noida ??

if u really Dont have anything , then go for it!!! but i honestly advise u to give AIEEE again ....improvement from 20K is very much possible....and any NIT for a ranker under 10K in AIEEE is end times better than JPEE!and if ur borad % is really good ,then only go for a drop!!!(its real tough now for to even appear for JEE ,forget clearing it).....so take it but do give AIEEE next yr ...it will only make ur life better if u make it to an NIT!!and if u have got a good % then go for it but make sure u really work hard like anything (wherever u take coaching)......but if not then dont risk dropping....coz 2013 batch is in for a real experiment!

if ur board % r good [personally i feel above 85%]so that u may safe iseet pattern .if not go jp noida not a bad choice .moreover u may open jp as my opened last yr 16k but dropped to manit[round 2].

ya i do have 88.2% in board, and i also got 14708 rank this year in IIT... :)
Or should i join jaypee and try to give exam again ??

see ur results are good and u can improve like anything if u put in ur efforts.ur board %age is good but frankly speaking ...( assuming u are from CBSE ) i cannot gurantee that u will be among top 20%!!so dont go for a complete drop,i recommend u to join JPEE and then prepare for JEE and AIEEE(especially)..its a safe route!!!

doesn't that 20% mean that if the topper has got 98% then, 78% would be the cutoff for appearing in JEE main???
