sir, In my 1st Indicative seat allotment, I was getting Mechanical in NIT warangal. It was my 5th preference .

My rank is 3066(overall all India rank,general).

BUT, Now ,in the 2nd indicative seat allotment , I had loosen mech. in NIT warangal......

pls tell me, whether I have some chance of getting it back????.....Last year the closing rank was 3586 ......But 2nd indication is showing that I am not getting it....Pls reply sir.....I am crazy for NIT warangal

hey thats probably because more people fed in their information after first indicative seat allotement or changed their choices similar to yours...again these are just indicative..most of the poeple won't turn up for admissions...i guess you will get...all the best:D

processing goes on till u do not get a choice.............u got ur choice no. 4..............but I can afford choice no. 6 only.............henceforth processing stoped there

don't worry, it is possible to get mech in warangal. wait for 30th. many people will go for iit and other colleges. There is a better chance if u wait for second round. rate me if this is useful

because processing stops when u get any choice

dont worry dear

be hopeful this is very common problem there.as you know this is only a indicative.probably you will be getting those branches over there but this is displaying NA there,everything will be cleared one day before your counselling.so dont worry

WHY DINT U FILL MECH NIT SURATHKAL...???? IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST.. honestly speaking,i wouldn't suggest to choose colleges according to the rankings...vit and psg tech>nit??

Both India Today and Outlook rankings are crap. Consult either counsellors or friends who are studying in the institutes.

yes..india today is totally crap..but outllook gives a better view..and as ceo said..ask seniors and decide...all the best!!
