seriously worried.. dtu counselling on 7 july and they say that they'll keep the original certificat

seriously worried.. dtu counselling on 7 july and they say that they'll keep the original certificates.. m also waiting for jee 2 round....can i get my certificates back if i need em widout gettin my admission cancelled??? how long does it take to get em back???? plzzz help m reallly confused
