i dont think there is a need to repeat bcoz u have got quite a gud rank(not excellent but still very gud).so u can easily get into an nit like nit jalandhar,nit rourkela,nit raipur,jaipur,allahabad etc...

u have got a bitsat score which can fetch u seat in bits goa!! for more info on bits goa read an article on this site only!!!it is a very good college and u get the degree from bits pilani....

u can also get colleges like thapar,nsit delhi,or some nice aieee college of ur state!!!!!

dropping a year becomes very difficult....one of my relatives dropped a yer and he cud not focus properly bcoz he had to do the same syllabus again and again.......as a result he gave up engineering stream and joined bba in delhi....

I would strongly oppose dropping because only 1 % of droppers crack IIT. Until unless u r so passionate, hard working and desiring , dont drop. u will be under heavy pressure that u hav to do it.Do it only if u have full confidence that u will make it, because for droppers it is always do or die

hmmmmm but i m not gting any gud college excpt bits goa nd hydrabad which in my view r gud but oters say dt dey r not gud................but i want a gud college nd my aieee rank is also not dt gud
