JIIT , DAIICT and thapar at at par . All have their own advantages.JIIT has no sc,st,state or any type of qouta(so no crowd problem), has location advantage (NCR Region) and is has huge industry interface which helps it in achieving excellent placements (close to 300% with average package of 4.5 lpa), and has world class infrastructure and all the facilities available for students and obviously backed up by the huge jaypee group which too helps in placements .JIIT has become a brand name now and considered the best private college in NCR region . DAIIT also has good industry interaction and nice placements . It does have gujarat quota and all other kinds of quota as well and i have heard those people are preferred there in all aspects... but thapar on the other hand is a college with decreasing placements and brand value year by year , plus due the location patiala industry interaction is very low and the crowd is very bad due to 50% punjab qouta and all othe qoutas as well.Thapar even has management, political and NRI qouta which makes it worse
