Which is the best branch in engineering in present scenario as far as scope is concerned , please put up your opinion.......

as far as scope is concerned..nothing remains in demand for a long time...engineering started with civil..and civil was at top demand..then mech got huuge demand..then eee...then cs and ece...the cycle will continue my friend...go with ur interests..

see eng itself has a huge scope and it depends on ur interest as well

if u like semiconductor physics u can go 4 electronics.................

if u like 2 sit and go 4 vast programming in languages like c ,c++,java etc opt cs it etc

but mechanical ,electrical and civil r core engg branches..............

mech and elec has high prospects without any effect of slowdown on economy...............

but demands high interest in mathematics and physics...............

ok very fine ,i got your point , but if isay that which is more beneficial- cs, electronics or electrical & communication , then what would be your advice, please tell in detail about their content , scope and placements if possible .

depends on ur interest...suppose u have interest in computer science...and u are getting it..and i say that the hottest branch is mechanical...wud u leave it for mechanical?...if u have interest even Biotechnology has gud scope..

I think Electrical and electronic engg coz of the scope afterwards coz EEE and CSE have closely related course structures but EEE gives u a wider choice of jobs.Check their respective course structures at BITS Pilani--> http://discovery.bits-pilani.ac.in/placements/CourseStructure/BE_Elec_Electronics.pdf http://discovery.bits-pilani.ac.in/placements/CourseStructure/BE_CompScience.pdf MIght be mostly same at other colls.RATE ME!

well want an easy life dude... with lots of money... without much effort... you know you are looking for cse/it... want to achieve something big... do research.. .prove it to the world.. you want to do eee/mechn and such core branches...one field i'll like you to search for is.. nanotechnology... :) hardcore field, lot of efforts, lot of oppertunites.. check this out...

Dont think commericially dude.. Follow ur interests.. Even if you take some course which is in demand and fail to have interest in it.. You will fail each semister and you will end up without a BTECH !!

You have to also consider the rank your getting in entrances too !!

ELECTRICAL in past......................................electrical in present................................................electrical in future.............................chose electrical it is evergreen and best branch
