well..actually even i'm not sure.......but a qn regarding this has cum in the paper .........so best way is to see qns related to this...............

the qns is....

choose and arrange any four of the following groups of plants in ascending order of evolution scale:

cycads,gnetales,monocotyledons,rhynia-like,chlorophyta ancestors,dicotyledons and seed ferns

ans- chlorophyta ancestors---->rhynia-like------>seed ferns------>cycads----->gnetales--------->dicotyledons-------->monocotyledons

then wat is the order if it is herbaceous lycopods, ferns,conifers,cycads
