Our teacher told us that we cannot use Kirchoff's law while answering the circuit problems in CBSE XII Boards, unless provided to use Kirchoff's law in the question.
Is this true? I think that its a law so we can use it anywhere.
What do you think?

I don't think there is a problem. But i think it would be better if you ask your friends in other schools to verify with their teachers.

Dude, No need to listen to any teacher.
If the law is given in NCERT and some ques are solved in it using this law, BINDASS use kar. Koi marks nahi kaatega.
Still if ur teacher says something, then just write some language in the question b4 directly applying this law but U can surely use it ''if'' it is given in NCERT.

And by the way, If U R not allowed to use Kirchoff's laws, then by which method R U gonna solve the questions in boards?? The IITJEE method?? :O ;).
Kirchoff's laws is the easiest(for boards) and the most basic law and it is the only method taught by CBSE to solve circuits. SO U can surely use it in ur boards.

But still to remove that ''risk factor'' completely, just ask ur teacher once that if we cant use kirchoff's law then how to solve the problems??
