for maharashtra state board students......HSC
None

this is especially for all those students who are in the maharashtra state board colleges......doing class 12th.........(or even people of other boards are welcome to give ur views) i am a student of Modern College- Pune..my boards are approaching near.....my prelims nearing as well.......they say that the corrections in the HSC is pretty strict and people (8 out of 10) do not take the studies of the boards serious...... in my college not even 50% of the syllabus is completed....So let every one of us HSC students decide up on how to take up these studies seriously.... mujhe kabhi kabhi dar lagta hai ki agar is board ke kaaran mujhe apne 60% marks bhi na

Dude,
I cannot say anything else but, just relax. Dont take the HSC boards so seriously!!! See, if you are preparing for IIT, then 60% aggregate is very easy to score. You have got comp science in a college like Modern then, what is so difficult to score 60%.

No one will ask your 12th marks once you get into IIT

I am a student from IITP (you must be knowing it)

Dont get tensed for 12 boards, they are worthless and are of no use.

Though the checking is strict,
mark my words

If you study for IIT, you will easily score in 80s in maharashtra boards!!!

In maharashtra more importance is given to 12th exam. This is because in 1999 there were very less job oppourtinities created in Maharashtra . The colleges like VIT, MIT, SIT had only 15% to 20% of job placements every year.

Just a few years later there was a sudden increase in job market through INFOSIS, WIPRO.. etc At that time during 2002-2003... VIT, MIT, SIT had 80%-90% job placements.

Unluckely CET was started in year 2004 in Maharashtra... so people remained under a bad impression that scoring in 12th gets you admission in good institutes. People in maharashtra are still not that aware about the IITs.

According to them 1st they prefer scoring in 12th then try CET and sometimes AIEEE due to 15% reservation kota in Pune Engineering colleges.

So, stop concentrating on 12th Exams, it will lead you no where.
You will get confused and will loose IIT if you take 12th that seriously.

Just study 12th for last two months!!!

Mark all of my words!
and gimme a salute for this.... I actually deserve one

Hey..!!!

Well u seem to be pretty much worried and stressed out.. Getting pins and needles before boards is a common sight.. But honestly do not let it affect your studies...

The best remedy is to stay calm. No doubt 12th boards is important, but then there is no use of staying stressed.. Use you time resourcefully. Even if your college has covered only 50% of the syllabus, dnt forget that you are the one who has to put in your best,  So study hard...

Stop listening to wat x-students have to say. Every one has their own share of experiences. Stay calm and concentrate..

Besties...
