 ( x - a )2 + ( y - b )2 = c2

2(x-a) +2(y-b)y1=0

(y-b) y1 = a- x

y12 - ( y -b) y2 = -1

 (b-y) y2 = 1+y12

(b-y) = (1+ y12 ) / y2.... (1)

  (1+ y12) = c / ( y - b ) [ This can be got after some manipulation]
c / ( y - b )=  (1+ y12) .......(2)
Multiply (1) and (2)

you get the given expression =c
which is independent of a and b
