continuity
None

if a point is not in the domain of the function will it be a point of discontinuity?

for eg in    1/x-2 will 2 be considered a pt of discontinuity as we dont include 2 in the domain of the function?

 Of Course-you are correct.

At that point the function becomes undefined and hence can't exist.

So x=2 will be a point of discontinuity

Please rate me if u r helped

Yes the points which are not in domain for a given interval then are points of discontinuity.

We talk about continuity always for a particular set of values of x that belongs to its domain. So talking about continuity at other points doesnot make any sense.
