i dont have the answer to the question.. read it somewhere

Answer is f(x)=x3-3x
f(x+1/x)=x3+1/x3=(x+1/x)(x2-1+1/x2)=(x+1/x)((x+1/x)2-3)
Thus,f(x)=x(x2-3)

f(x+\frac{1}{x}) = x^3+\frac{1}{x^3} \\ \\ f(x+\frac{1}{x}) = (x+\frac{1}{x})^3 - 3(x+\frac{1}{x}) \\ \\ \Rightarrow f(x) = x^3-3x
