A nursery sells plants after n years of growth.Two seedlings A and B are planted each of height h cms whose growth rates are dh_a/dt and dh_b/dt where h_a and h_b are in cms and t is the time in years.Then what are their heights when the plants are sold?

integrating
t=c*ha and t=k*hb
when t=0,ha=hb=h we get c=k
i cant proceed any further!

I think something is missing !

Look, how ?

dh_a/dt = constant = k

integrating with limits we get :

h - h₀ = kt

h = h₀ + kn

Now, in the starting h₀ is 0.

So, h = kn [ for a ]

Similarly for b.

Now, some condition must be given for calculating value of k. It cannot be calculated as such.

Look, that condition cannot be used to get the value of k.
