Q1 Show that eqn x=asinx + b where 0<a<1 ,b>0 has at least one positive root which does not exceed b+a

2)This is simple.Polynomials of odd degree always have atleast one real root bcoz imaginary roots always occur in pairs. So,for a polynomial of degree 2n+1,there can be almost 2n non-real roots and so,there will be atleast 1 real root.
