lim ( tan pi(x+2) - 2pi )/ (x+2)
lim tan pi(x+2) - tan 2pi/1+ tan2pi(tan pi(x+2))
As tan 2pi is zero,
lim tan pi(x+2) x pi
-------------------------
pi(x+2)
Thus,
(limit x tends to -2) (tan
x)/(x+2)
=
pi
Plzz rate me if I am correct.

x tends to -2
let x = -2 +h
h will tend to 0
substitute
u will get,
l = tan (pi (-2 + h) ) / h
= tan (-2pi + pi h) / h=
tan pi h / h
= pi
Rate If Useful
(this can also be done by L Hospital.......but u shud try and avoid it when other methods are possible)
