How can I find range for given functions?

 

it is simple to find the range of a function f(x).

1)find the domain of the function, in which it lies. this can be done by using       f(x)>0 for an increasing funcn or f(x)<0 for a decreasing funcn.

 

2)substitute the obtained extremes of the domain in the given function.
