We know derivative of |x| is |x|/x

Let y = sinx-cosx then f(x) = |y|

$\frac{df}{dx}=\frac{df}{dy}\frac{dy}{dx}=\frac{|y|}{y}(cosx+sinx)$

$\frac{df}{dx}=\frac{|sinx-cosx|}{sinx-cosx}(cosx+sinx)$
