DEFINATION OF AN ELECTRIC FIELD IS E = Lt (q -> 0) F/q...........................hERE q TENDS TO ZERO...BUT WE KNOW THAT THE SMALLEST OR ELEMENTARY CHARGE IS +1.6*10-19 C or -1.6*10-19 C........CHARGE LESS THAN THIS CANNOT EXIST..... HOW DO WE JUSTIFY THAT THIS?????????????

Lim q-->0 mathematically gives a conclusion that value of charge is decreased...but physically it establish a concept that from a specified region you have removed all the region.........
Means suppose a non uniform geometrical figure and there exist soem charges in it....now to determine what is the field in the region is.....physically removing all the charges...and cosidering unit charges at respective places......and then the expression of force will give expression for EF

This concept is just for understanding. you can also say the defination like electrical field by some charge is the coulamb force on a unit charge.
