a charge Q is uniformly distributed on a plastic plate .the electric field at point p neat the center of the plate is 10 v/m .if this plate is replaced by copper plate of same dimension and charge ,the electric field at the point p will become a) zero b)10 v/m c)20 v/m

Inside the conductor EF is zero.............for the case of plastic we have 10V/m...........but for conductor at the center inside it EF=0

copper is a conductor..whereas plastic is an insulator..so electric field near a charged conductor is sigma/epsilon..whereas for an insulatror it is sigma /2*epsilon
