if the resistance across a 12v source is increased by 4 ohm,the current drops by 0.5 ohm .the original resistance was----
1. 8 ohm
3. 4 ohm
3. 16 ohm

initially;
12=iR-----------------------------------------------------------------(1)
AFTER INCREASING R BY 4;
12=(i-0.5)(R+4)
12=iR+4i-0.5R-2_-------------------------------------------------(2)
sustitute eqn 1 in 2 n solve u'll get 8 as the answer
