ASSERTION AND REASON1)if concentric spherical gaussian surface is drawn inside thin spherical shell of charge, electric field at each point of surface must be 0.2) this is in accordance with gauss lawflux = q enclosed/ephsilon. here ,q enclosed is 0 so flux is 0.2FOR UNIFORMLY CHARGED THIN CIRCULAR RING WITH NET CHARGE 0,V AT EACH POINT ONA XIS OF RING IS 0. 2) FOR NON UNIFORMLY CHARGED THIN CIRCULAR RING WITH NET CHARGE 0, E FIELD AT ANY POINT ON AXIS OF RING IS 0.

Question 2 first :
Statement 1 :FOR UNIFORMLY CHARGED THIN CIRCULAR RING WITH NET CHARGE 0,V AT EACH POINT ONA XIS OF RING IS 0.
true ....v = kq/r ...r is constant ..q = 0 .......hence v = 0
statement 2 : FOR NON UNIFORMLY CHARGED THIN CIRCULAR RING WITH NET CHARGE 0, E FIELD AT ANY POINT ON AXIS OF RING IS 0.
false .... let half the ring be positive ..and other half be negative ...try to visualise the net e - feild ..its non zero.
Question 1 :
Statement 1 : if concentric spherical gaussian surface is drawn inside thin spherical shell of charge, electric field at each point of surface must be 0
true ...because ..there is no feild at any point inside ..so draw a gaussean surface or a nugo surface ..if its inside the shell ..feild is zero.
Statement 2 : this is in accordance with gauss lawflux = q enclosed/ephsilon. here ,q enclosed is 0 so flux is 0.
Assuming that the question means NET FLUX and not just flux ...this statement is also true ....but its not the correct reason.
It tells nothing of the feild at EACH POINT as stated in the statement 1.
Correct explanation is nothing but : "feild inside an isolated conductor is zero." ........
NOTE that : gaussean's law tells nothing about feild at each point ..it tells about the net feild/flux..hence it cant be taken as the correct explanation.

1. Both assertion and reason are correct.
2. Assertion is false.
