Hello All,
I have some basic questions,in which I lack concepts....
1. What is meant by a Potential Difference...........Is Potential Difference = Potential Drop ??
Also, water flows form a height to lower heights........Smlrly, Electric Current flows from a higher potential region to lower potential region........but what makes them flow so ???.................
2. Basically, what is the difference between an AC Current and a DC Current ?
Thanks.

Whatever we do............the final decision is God's.......

1)potetial differece and poten. drop are diferrrent . sceond one is reduc tion in p.d due to internal resistance 2)that is becoz of p.d. all such process follow second law of theremodynamics 3)basic diif. is continuty one changes dirention one not.

3 ] An alternating current ( AC) is an electrical current whose magnitude and direction vary cyclically, as opposed to direct current, whose direction remains constant. The usual waveform of an AC power circuit is a sine wave, as this results in the most efficient transmission of energy. However in certain applications different waveforms are used, such as triangular or square waves
