 what is relation between work done by cell and heat generated in circuit?

work done by battery=Vitheat generated=i^2Rti think u don't need any relation between them as both are different things.

work done by battery = heat generated + change in internal energy of system(if any)

yes the above comment is right. there is not always a equality between work done by battery and heat produced. so as i said no particular relation among them..
