Calculate word done

Physics

Two point charges A and B of value 5 and 3 nano coloumb are kept 6 cm apart . calculate work done when charge B is moved 1 cm towards A.

Find ELECTRIC FORCE at a point "x" distance from A... integrate F*x at given intervel

we must consider charge of A & B for deriving F ...

calculate the total P.E at distance 6cm and then find the toral P.E at the distance 7cm .then subtract the P.E of the two u will get the work done and it will be positive because u needn't have to do any work, it wil be done by system

sorry i have told the wrong ans ,u have to subtract the P.E at 6cm and 5cm ,then the sutracted is the work done and it is negetive
