draw the charge from any one battery

using mesh analysis

-q/2-q/4+24-12=0

3q/4=12

q=16c

Va-Vb=-q/2

=-16/2uf

=-8V answer

take the charge from batteryy then apllying krichoff law

then the equation is
-q/2-12-q/4+24=0

on solving this
we get

q ===16

then
v(a)-v(b) = -q/2
=-16/2
=-8v
if i m corect rate me

using KVL for the loop

we get  24- q/4- 12- q/2=0

q=16

again using KVL for a to b

now Va + 16/2 - Vb =0

Va-Vb = -8 V  (ans)
