I've always been clueless about this whole thing about conservative and non-conservative stuff right from plus one. I mean, yeah, its like, the shit doesn't depend on the path. But, what's it actually for ?

I mean, can you tell me what conservative and non-conservative forces look like ? And, whats this shit here : "Electrostatic field lines do not form any closed loops as this follows from the conservative nature of electric field".

I was like, freezed. I mean, send me the crap to hell, what the hell is he talking about ? And whats the difference between conservative forces and conservative fields ?

conservative fields are those which do not depend on the path taken and just depends upon the initial and final positions.
non- conservative field depends upon the path transversed.
bt abt the qn u asked related to electrostatics...even i cudnt see the relation b/w closed loops and conservative fields....

Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.
