Well that depends on the condition given if jst talking about a wire flow of current will depend on 1. the source supplier of voltage
2. if any resistance
3 pot diff. across ends of wire
Also direction of current flow conventionally is from higher to lower potential points. I HOPE U AGREE WID ME

Man its a simple case of wheatstones bridge in balanced condition.there will b no current in the branch AB. acc to the funda of wheatstone

its a symmetry based question.............. since the resistances are in 1:2 ratio so 2i/3 current will pass through 6 ohm and i/3 thru 12 ohm at pt A or B (same wrt potential) current againg divides and since 2i/3 is supposed to flow to 6 ohm resistor (down one) so i/3 current cums fr point A to B ..........now simple use KVL and get the answer
