A battery of emf 100 V and a resistor of 10 k ohm are joined in series . This system is used as a source to supply current to an external resistance R . If R is not greater than 100ohm , the current through it is constant upto two significant digits . Find its value

The current is i = 100/(1000+R) R = (100/i) - 1000 R 100 (100/i) - 1000 100 i 1/11 i 0.090909...... As i is constant upto 2 places of decimal, i = 0.09 A
