Can anyone plz tell me clearly the cases when to use /20
or /0
for eg in the below question :
A large conducting plane has a surface charge density of 10^-4 C/m^2
.Find the electrostatic energy stored in a cubical voulme of edge 1cm.
which one to use?

First one will be used if there is one chargerd surface and second will be used when there are two surfaces.

Conducting plane will have two surfaces of charge and hence we will use second
