Since initial separation from both the charges is equal, initial electric potential energy=zero;
and since final separation from both the charges is also equal, final electric potential energy=zero.
Therefore no work is required to be done against electric force.
Work done=zero.

With th given c0nditi0n,any circl on xy plane with centr at origin wil hav same potential at every point on its circumfrnc...sinc,+ve charg experiencs a c0nsrvativ f0rce,wrk d0ne depnds on initial n final p0int,both of whch lie on a circl,so W=0

there is no work done.
as the displacement is not in the direction of force applied.
the displacement is Perpendicular
W= F.S
and the dot product is zero for perpendicular vectors...
The net force ( field ) is acting in the z direction and the displacement is in X-direction ( -a to 0 ) and Y-direction ( 0 to a )
thrfr no Work is done by the field!!!!!!!
