Electrostatic experiments do not work well during humid days.why?

A point positive charge is released at a point in a non uniform electric field. How will it move?

for the first question i suppose that on a humid day the clouds develop a charge on them thus inducing a charge on the surface of earth
thus there is a field strong enough to show an adverse affect on ur experiment

vry simple
on humid days there will be a slow disharge as humid air conducts elctricity ( but not 2 a large extent)

2nd q
it will move in the same way as it wud if da field wer uniform but da accn wud vary with time

Right answer. Its very easy to polarise water molecule as compared to oxygen and nitrogen.
