Dear I found your question like this and what those question mark says is not understandable I dint find any attached file as well
How ever if the position varies sinusoidally means its under SHM ( as your question says )
If you will bring in curvy way which looks like sinusoidal function in that case also work done will depend on the initial and final point
Its independent of path
