Particle of charge q is brought from A to B, following the path as a sinusoidal function, and then find the work done in doing so? The point ?A?, is ?r?, distance from the infinitely long linear body given in figure.Write with the correct explanation for the answer.

There is no attached file as well as figure.

However, if it is electric field then remember that the force due to it is conservative, that is path independent but only depends on intial and final positions of the charged particle or in more simple language the displacement.

Thus W = F. d = force x displacement.
