Use the concept of balanced wheatsotnes bridge.

In the side half portion the 2 ohm resistance (between two one 1 ohm and two 2 ohm resistors) can be removed as current will not flow through it due to balanced wheatsotnes bridge i.e. 1/2 = 1/2 in both the arms.

Now proceed

i am not saying ki whole circuit is symmetrical......ok suppose u wud have to find the equi resistance across A and B and that battery and 1 ohm resistance were not there ......tab toh aisey hi kartey.....and now after finding equi resistace across A and B we have connected it with a battery and a 1 ohm resis.....though i have slight doubt in it but still i think its correct....
