since the four charges are of equal  sign just draw the direction of  forces ,(that will be away from that charge )

take the resultant of two  vectors by parallelogram law of vector addition ;thier resultant  willl be in the direction of third one

add them and get the answer.

if u have any problem in writing the forces then  tell.

u r trying to tell me that firstly i have to take the resultant of two vectors and then since the resultant is in the direction of the third charge so they will get summed up...o.k

can you help me still ?

just give me the corresponding equations if you have?

thank you

ankitagg has given very clear idea 4 the que. asked by u. & i think u have got the concept. only need the equations. these r as follows... let 4 charges r there at points p,q,r,s & we have 2 find force on p due to other 3 charges. the force due to q & s on p, F=KQ^2/R^2
AGAIN RESULTANT OF THESE 2 WIL B ACCORDING 2 PARALLELOGRAM LAW, ROOT2.F .......(1)
now force due to the charge r on p, F'= KQ^2/(ROOT2.R)^2......(2)

NOW NET FORCE= EQU 1+ EQU 2..... PUT THE VALUES OF Q & R AS GIVEN IN THE QUE.

HOPE U GOT IT.
CHEERS.....:)
