see if the potential through the capacitors is same...they are in parallel...and if the potential is different they are in series..

also see that

if the current has only one path to go....it is series..

if current has two or more paths....they are in parallel

ask if you find some doubt again please.

Series- If charges on the plates of two capacitors are same.

Parallel-If potential across two capacitors are same.

yaar the best technique is to mark the junctions as A,B,C<.....I mean is 2 pts have same potential then mark the junction with the same letter.....and hence they will be in ||.....if not then in series...

SEE IF ONLY ONE PLATET OF TWO CAPACITORS ARE JOINED TOGETHER BY A WIRE WITH NO OTHER TERMINAL BETWEEN THEM THEN THE CAPACITORS ARE IN SERIES. IF BOT THE PLATES OF THE TWO CAPACITORS ARE CONNECTED TOGETHER NO MATTER THERE IS ANY OTHER TERMINAL BETWEEN THEM, THE CAPACITORS ARE IN PARALLEL.
