i think the answer should be c)
see when B is along Bj then force on it is along positive k when B is along -Bj then the force on it is along negative k , ie it has retadation

SIMPLE QUESTION AGAIN :D
seee F = q (v X B)
now for a to 2a... force will be along +z axis ... so acceleration along +ve z axis..
and for 2a to 3a... force will be along - z axis.. so retardation..
and the correct option matching this is (A) :)
retardation means the velocity is becoming less.. and not negative immediately as it is like in (c)
