therefore the potentiol difference at points c and d are same so if a capacitor is connected no charge will flow through it

draw a gaussion surface between the plates of the capacitor
since the lenth lies in the conductor the electric flux and the electric field is 0 since no electric field can exist in a conductor
therfore the facing surfaces of the capacitor will have the same charge the outer surfaces will also have the same charge acoording to gauss law.
