Same...
coz potential dusnt change since even aftr the charges wer moved,dey r still at the same distance frm the centre...and so potential wont change(wat i cud get frm the fig. was -q was placed at c and d in 1st fig.and at b and d in 2nd fig..)

SEE if the whole charge is at an equal distance from the point where V is 2 be calculated, then we can write.........

V = k(Qnet)/r.....
in these 2 cases, Qnet = 0.......

so V1 = V2 = 0.....!!!!!

ELECTRIC POTENTIAL IN BOTH THE CASES IS ZERO........

Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.

see, for any general case,
                  Vres = SUM Vi
                                    =SUM (Q1+Q2+..Qn)/r
                           =(here) 0 (Q+Q-Q-Q), for both cases
