A hemisphere of radius R is charged uniformly with surface density of charge sigma.What will be the potential at the centre?

sigmaR/2E0

sigma/4Eo

sigma/2E0

4sigmaR/3E0

( Eo  is permittivity )

using Gauss' law get
E.2.pi.R^2=(sigma*2.pi.R^2)/E0
or, E=sigma/E0

Now, E=-dV/dR
or, V=intergrtn(E.dR) lowr limit=R upper limit=0
or, V=sigma.R)/E0
