we often hear that lightning strikes the earth with speed of light.
a lightning flash consists of electrons.
if an object having some rest mass can never travel at the speed of light then how can lightning strike at the speed of light.
|
 
Being beaten is often a temporary condition, giving up is what makes it permanent. |

lightning consists of electrons and ionised molecules..formed as a result of dielectric break down of air.....they travel at comparable speed of light not exactly at light's speed...and it is the spark ..the photons released due to inter orbital jumps in those excited molecules ..that u see..as the brilliance of the lightening... wat u see are photons not those molecules having mass....
