RATES ASSURED!!!!! IN CHARGING RC CIRCUITS THE CURRENT FLOWS TILL VOLTAGE ACROSS BATTERY IS EQUAL TO VOLTAGE ACROSS CAPACITOR.BUT THE RESISTANCE WHICH IS CONNECTED IN SERIES WITH IT SHOULD LOWER THE POTENTIAL.SO I SHOULD FLOW TILL THE VOLTAGE ACROSS CAPACITOR IS EQUAL TO V-iR?

man first no RC circuit can charge before infinte time so and at infinity i is almost 0 so answer is obvious

see at t=0 there's a zero resistance offered by the capacitor as the capacitor starts charging up it provides resistace and at t= infinity it provides infinite resistance due to which current becomes zero now since current is zero so voltage across resistor will remain zero............at t-0 resitor have voltage equal to that of battery but at t=infinity the capacitor is havin voltage equals to battery
