a 4ohm non insulated resistance wire is bent in the middle by 180' and both the halves r twisted wid each other. wat is the new resistance?

simple yaar! in final condition there will be 2 resistances each of 2 ohm connected in parallel...........so, nett resistance is 1 ohm......

see when you bent the wire in the middle, the resistences of the two parts become 2 ohm each. these two resistances are connected in parallel.so equivalent reistance is 1 ohm

i use a simple way to find whthr d resistances r in series or parallel. if there is head-head and tail-tail connection between the resistances, they r in parallel, n if there is head-tail connection, it is in series
