QUESTION:The figure is a spherical capacitor with the outer plate earth and the space in between the plate filled with a dielectric of strenth 32..
when we earth the outer plate and provide the inner plate with a charge of +q...
what is the potential of the inner sphere?
DOUBT: DOES the charge induced due to the inner plate on the "inner surface" of the outer plate become significant?Doesnt it move into the earth leaving the outer plate uncharged??? If so then why do we consider the potential due to the outer plate when calculating the potential on the inner plate?????
