when current pass thro resistor its temp increases is it an adiabatic process

no it is not an adiabatic process as the heat dissipated by the resistor owing to its temp. increase is exchanged with the surrounding.eg. a room heater or an immersion rod.for an adiabatic process, no heat is exchanged.
