MTG books are known to be good books. They are indeed good books as per my opinion. But I think the magazines cannot take place of a text book and should be used by students who have got some firm hold on the subject.

get the MTG magazines as they expose you 2 a variety of questions...but first u must have thorough understanding of the topic...
