If Water is more necessary to live than diamonds , then why are diamonds more expensive than water???

Market forces. Diamonds are rare, hence the higher price. Water is available in plenty, so it is cheap. Besides, if water were as expensive as diamonds are today, human race would cease to survive!

everything does not depend on the amount charged on it.............but if u think ,then u better try to bath with diamonds....drink diamonds

A lot of money is spent on the diamonds. Where as less or almost nothing is spent at water. And the Diamonds are limited in nature but water is not.

Water is more essential that oil. Oil is more common there, so water is extremely costly in Saudi Arabia, even costlier than oil.
this suggests that everything mostly depends on demand and supply.

it is very difficult 2 obtain diamonds and diamonds r very rare !!! and very strong !!!
thus they r expensive !!
in d case of water !! it is available in plenty !( but now decreasing) so it will obviously cost less !!!!
