another riddle

None

A large truck is crossing a bridge 1 mile long. The bridge can only hold 14000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse?

it does not collapse becoz the truck has used petrol equal to the weight of bird while coming half way

heheh i don think ostriches cld fly... n ppl hav good milage trucks these dayss so i don think travellling half a mile wld consume tht much petrol equal to weight of bird... wht is d answer aakash

since the truck is large it can use that much of gasoline i suppose

well guyss i tried dng a bit reaserch on it...
i found tht ilb=0.5 kg n wgt of a bird is 150 gms approx and milage is wht i am lacking...some comapnies say 20 miles per litre... mass of 1 litre of gasoline is 0.75 kg... so calculating..0.01875kg is spent for reaching half a mile..so i suppose d bridge wont collapse..

20 miles per litre is for cars for large trucks it is very less

lol................i'm laughing daylights out here.........

she really luvs physics.............warna research on a qs like this..............that 2 for mileage...........and on top of all that
mileage of a truck - 20 miles per litre..............god...

1.) the bridge would have to be twice the size of brooklyn....
2.) the engine in the truck must be from GENERAL MOTORS ...
BUT I DONT THINK THEY MAKE TRUCKS.........LOL
