Mystery case:Lets see who is the real detective....

None

Here,i have a mystery case...lets see who can solve it...i'm sure sum1 will...lets see who does it first...give ans. with proper reasoning....3 salutes for right ans...
Harborville's Beach Snack Shop had been open only an hour when Max stopped in and noticed a new poster announcing a price increase. "I put the sign up this morning," Mr. Levine told him. "Had to raise my prices ten percent because I have so many new expenses. Like now I need a new window for my back room. Somebody broke it, trying to get into my store last night."
"Have you called the police?" Max asked.
"No. Nothing was stolen." He led Max to a small storeroom in the back. "I use this space as an office. Sat here and made my price change poster last night. Soon's I was done, I left it on that old desk. When I went out, I locked the door to the main part of my store. So whoever got in was stuck in this little storeroom. Nothing here to steal."
When Max left he wandered down to the break wall, where Nathan and Trevor were fishing. "Did you hear that somebody broke a window at the Shack?" he asked.
"Nope," Nathan said. "We've been here since dawn. Haven't talked to anybody." Trevor gestured to the bucket. "We've caught some big ones." Nathan stood. "But now I'm starving. I've got a dollar left from my allowance. If Mr. Levine is there now, I'm going up to the Shack to get a Big Beach Bun."
"Better get another dime from somewhere," Trevor told him. "A dollar's not enough any more. As for me, I'm going home to get a couple sandwiches for myself."
"You both stay right here," Max said. "I know which one of you broke that window. You'd better think of a way to pay for it, because I'm telling Mr. Levine."

How did max figure it out?

Trevor broke it.......as he was aware of the price increase.......he must have seen the poster on wch Mr.Levine was working on when he broke into the shop the prevoius night......!!!!!

trevor is the 1 who got in as he knew that 1 dollar wasn't enough to buy the snacks....he had seen the price rise poster.....

dude itz getting stuck...i mean the whatever ya do ya get after talking to the chief you go straight to the bathroom...and the whole thing doesn't load dn... :(

did it dude... had a nice time solving it...the murderer was bob...
but i cudn't get the last two tasks....
getting brutally killed... no sort of a attempt ws made on me...

Here's the next case..let's see who can do it...

"I know we should have called the police," Eric Wembly admitted as he nursed a bump on the back of his head. "But the kidnapper said he'd kill my brother if we did. And it's not like we couldn't afford the ransom."

Wink Wembly, the elder son of Jonas Wembly, had been missing since Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, a lone kidnapper telephoned the mansion and made his demands. The younger Wembly son, Eric, was to bring the money in unmarked bills in a duffel bag. He was to take a specific route from the mansion, parking in a downtown lot and carrying the bag through an alley to a drop site in a nearby park.

The normally cheap Jonas Wembly was frantic and willingly agreed to the terms. A midnight pay-off. Half a million dollars. And no police.

"I was halfway through the alley," Eric testified, "when I heard footsteps. Before I could turn around I was hit on the head. I fell down. But it didn't quite knock me out. I could see his back by the light of a street lamp. Never got to see his front. He was running away with the duffel bag. A tall guy with white sneakers. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark cardigan. Sorry I can't be more specific."

In the case's one lucky break, a police officer came across Eric shortly after the attack. He called in the crime and a patrol car responded immediately. Two suspicious-looking characters were apprehended in the vicinity, both resembling Eric's description.

"So, I was running," Petey Bordon said angrily. He had been found two blocks from the attack and started running as soon as he saw the patrol car. Petey had a string of priors, all misdemeanors "I'm on parole," he admitted "And I was carrying a knife -- for my own protection at night. That's a violation. Can you wonder why I ran away?"

The second suspect was Arnie Acker, a homeless drifter. "I wasn't even wearing this sweater," he protested as he unbuttoned his moth-eaten cardigan. "I picked it out of the garbage just before you guys pulled me in."

"We didn't find money on either one of 'em," the chief of police told Jonas Wembly. "And we didn't find the duffel bag. But I got a pretty good idea what happened. Don't worry. We'll get your son back."

Who do you think was lying in his testimony??

see my logic might not be correct
but this is what i thought didn't fit in

in the night under the lamp at midnight one couldn't possibly see white sneakers
but he said
"A tall guy with white sneakers."

i mean u would see everything black or like a shadowy form, u can't see white,
thats my logic may or may not be correct
