1- if the number is a multiple of 3,
it is a number from 50 to 59
2-- if the number is not a multiple of 4,
then it is a number from 60 to 69
3--- if the number is not a multiple of 6,
then it is a number from 70 to 79
The number can't be just a multiple of 3 ...and not 4 or 6...cos of statements 1 , 2 and 3.. which will contradict each other..
if the number is neither a multiple of 4 nor 6, then 1 and 2 contradict so it has to be either a multiple of 4 only or 6 only.
it can't be a multiple of 3 only as shown above... so it is either a multiple of 3 and 4 or 3 and 6.
but if it is a multiple of 6 it will be a multiple of 3 also... so we have to forget that! ...so the only way is that it is a multiple of 4.. and not a multiple of 6. (or 3)
and multiple of 4 can only lie in 70 - 79 from the given data
and the number in 70-79 which is only a multiple of 4 and not of 3 or 6 is......

if the no. is a multiple of 3 (and not 4 or 6) it would cum in da 1st range as well as da 2nd n 3rd. this tautology is removed by a number tht is a multiple of 4 or 6. as a multiple of 6 would also a multiple of 3 the no. would b a multiple of four cumin in da 3rd range. as there r two options 72 or 76, v c tht 72 is a multiple of 3&6 hence, it isnt da desired no. this can also b explained by union of sets.
